The original estate plan established out of state during the last decade did not serve the purpose anymore.  The first Washington State law firm through google research did not complete amendments according to my requirements.  CMS is the second firm that I retained after I moved to Washington State.  I found CMS easy to do business with.

Ashley McAlhaney at CMS was the estate planning lawyer who worked diligently and patiently listened to all my restatement requirements. Her professional knowledge and paying attention to details were extremely important to me.  Ashley held a three-way conference call with my wealth management advisor resolved many potential issues in the future regarding investments and distributions to beneficiaries.  Her empathy and understanding complicated family situation enabled my amendment process completion smoothly and thoroughly.  I will recommend her to my friends who need to create or amend estate planning documents.

Her team, especially the office manager and notarization personnel also paid attention to details in order to ensure the final signatures and notarizations would be based on correct verbiage and updates on the final set of documents. The estate attorney Ashely McAlhaney is very nice and very professional lady  although I just spoke to her on the phone only . She explained very clearly for what is the best for me and my family very warm and care voice on the phone . And the staffs in the Kirkland office are also extremely helpful . We just finished our trust with CMS and couldn't be happier.  Our attorney, Ashley McAlhaney advised and guided us through the process.  She was extremely patient fielding our questions, and we feel that she addressed all of our concerns in a timely manner.   The process took some time because we wanted to be as thorough as possible, and Ashley reassured us that their policy is not have the signing until all edits are done.

It's such a relief to now have a family trust that our heirs can rely on.

We needed to update our Trust / Will and wanted to find someone we felt comfortable with. I looked at online reviews and found a few firms. I called the three firms with the best reviews. I had to leave messages with all three of them. Only CMS got back to me. Their price was very reasonable, so we used their services. They were very easy to work with and answered all our questions. After we went to their office to sign the documents, they also let us know that as part of the cost, they are always available to answer questions in the future without any additional charges. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them.  The attorney we worked with at CMS was Chris Small.
